Over the past twenty-five years Kevin had worked in management for several of America’s largest staffing and executive search firms and personally started up, developed—and sold—a couple of multimillion-dollar staffing corporations.  In addition, he established a host of other for-profit companies that focused on technology & internet development, retail ventures, residential security, and a satellite dish company.

Along the way, Kevin collaborated with HR departments of some of the largest corporations in this country from Microsoft, BASF, Stanley Tools, Toll Brothers, and TD Banknorth to hundreds of small-medium size companies like Commerce Bank, Advida Bank and Flagship Bank.  Kevin’s comfort zone is the latter, the small and medium, “That’s where every employee needs to wear many hats, have unbreakable lines of communication and great team relationships.  It’s the small businesses that built America, and that is exciting stuff to work with”.

Those humble beginnings are part of who Kevin is today: a down-to-earth guy with a finely honed wit and a competitive zest for doing the best he can for his clients.  And like most successful entrepreneurs he's a bit of a gabber and none too shy.  Especially when he talks about the hard-knocks, business lessons he has learned over the years.  This seasoned HR Business Partner knows what it takes to identify, acquire, and retain exceptional talent and build them into effective teams.  With over twenty-five years of experience in designing and developing staffing initiatives that crossed industries such as: finance & banking, healthcare, life-sciences, retail, and technology, this is a professional with strong business acumen and the vision to anticipate client needs and the creative ability to offer them significant solutions.

For the past seven years, Kevin has been working with Sterling Staffing, a niche consulting and executive search firm for the banking & finance industry providing HR strategies in the areas of, talent recruitment & retention, re-designing training programs that included building business development teams, branch managers, customer service and more.

Kevin holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and a SPHR, a Senior Human Resources Professional certification.  He is a member of SHRM; the Society of Human Resource Management, NEHRA; the Northeast Human Resource Association, SHRMA, Sun Coast Human Resource Management Association, HRTAMPA, the Human Resource Management Association of Tampa, and NBFSN, the National Banking & Financial Services Network.
