Affiliated Consultant
Wendy is an Affiliated Consultant with Northeastern Banking Services Group, LLC (NBS). Prior to joining NBS, she was an Executive at COCC in Avon, CT heading up the Client Services Division. Her teams were responsible for the day to day support of Banks and Credit Unions who used COCC’s core and electronic banking platforms. Under Wendy’s leadership service scores reached their highest levels in company history. Before taking on the Client Services Role, she was hired at COCC to establish a Product Management Practice. In this capacity, she created internal processes to develop or outsource new products to be offered to Financial Institution Clients. Wendy also developed and oversaw the administration of an annual Strategic Direction Survey which monitored trends such as competitive concerns, new product implementation and technology roadmaps. During her time at COCC Wendy led client focus groups on such topics as Fraud Detection and Prevention, HSA Strategies, FFIEC Red Flag Compliance and Remote Deposit Capture Best Practices to name a few.
Wendy Healey got her start in banking almost 20 years ago when she was hired by Peoples Bank in Connecticut to complete their management training program. During her career at Peoples, she was called on to serve as a Corporate Trainer of Customer Service Managers for Sales Management. She opened a number of new branches, served on the Hartford Region’s Quality Committee, and ran monthly financial management workshops. She was licensed to sell insurance, mutual funds and mortgages and was responsible for generating small business and commercial deposit growth and referrals. Her last role at Peoples was Market Manager where she was responsible for growth, customer experience and operations of multiple retail branches in the Farmington Valley.
Wendy has been very active in both the Avon Chamber of Commerce where she served a two year term as President as well as the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce where she served as the Chairman of the Septemberfest Committee.
Wendy received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Connecticut and is currently enrolled in the University of Connecticut School of Business Executive MBA program.
