Managing Director
Amy is a Managing Director with Northeastern Banking Service Group, LLC (NBS). Prior to her employment at NBS, Amy was an Executive Director in the Advisory Services Group at CCR in Glastonbury, CT for three years delivering consulting and professional services to regional and community banks throughout the northeast.
Ms. Giguere has over 18 years of professional experience in retail banking. Prior to joining CCR in March of 2005, Ms. Giguere was a branch manager of a $120 million urban branch for a regional bank and previously held similar positions at other community banks. She successfully completed the Fleet Bank Management Training Program and worked in multiple capacities with Fleet Bank in consumer lending, small business lending, sales, and branch administration.
Ms. Giguere’s experience includes operational and compliance policies, procedures and risk management programs in retail banking, deposit operations and consumer lending. Specific expertise includes: Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), GLBA and consumer loan compliance and truth-in-savings.
Amy also leads the Retail Banking Strategy, Branch Market Studies, Retail Sales Program Assessments and out-sourced sales program support – training, tracking and consulting – at NBS.
Ms. Giguere has presented Risk Management seminars at the Bank Compliance Association of Connecticut (BCAC) and the Massachusetts Bankers Association (MBA) and has published Retail Banking articles.
Education
Ms. Giguere received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Connecticut.
Memberships
Ms. Giguere has actively participated for the past 20 years as a CPR Instructor with the American Heart Association and is involved with the Jimmy Fund and the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Ms. Giguere is also a member of the BCAC.
